FUNDING FOCUS
Education/ Mental Health
The Blackwood Foundation philosophy for mental health and wellbeing is primarily in prevention for young people to 18 years. In 2015 the United Nations recognised mental health as a priority required for global development by including it in the UN Sustainable Development Goals 2030. Through quality school led programs available to all students, the Foundation is committed to the achievement of the UN Sustainable Development Goals 2030, Good Health and Wellbeing and Quality Education.
The Foundation is interested in funding organisations who work on the prevention and treatment of mental health and wellbeing, particularly programs conducted in the school environment.
Inclusive mental health and education programs are prioritised.
