Sir David Martin Foundation

The Foundation was established to support youth in crisis. The Blackwood Foundation’s involvement with SDMF is at their Triple Care Farm. It was set up as a holistic 12-week program to provide accommodation, treatment, and support for young people with drug and alcohol issues and mental illness, as well as life skills. The Blackwood Foundation initially funded the building of the on-site detox unit, Sir David Martin Place, then later, co-funded a young person to attend the facility.
